Moments in Time

My art is a way of capturing a moment in time, a memory, and turning it into something that will last forever.  I grew up surrounded by art made by my ancestors, their legacy was able to live on far beyond their years, and that is a huge inspiration for me.  My paintings typically start with an adventure and a camera and end in the studio with oil paints.  I like painting beautiful things, but may prefer to paint ordinary things seen out in the wild.  To view my art in person come see me at the Gunnison and/or Crested Butte Farmers Markets or at the Terrible Mountain Gallery in Pitkin, CO (opening soon).
