About the Artist

Alex Tiberio is an artist based in Pitkin, CO.  Alex Grew up surrounded by art and it has always been a part of his life whether actively pursuing it or not.  Throughout his 20s he worked as a wilderness guide, a camera was always with him on big expeditions.  A way to be inspired for the future.  After moving to Gunnison County, CO, Alex and his partner Kristi started a silversmithing business (Gothic Mountain Jewelers) and became well known locally for his creations.  After a ski accident, Alex turned his attention to oil paints.  Alex paints the world as he sees it, mainly using his photos for reference.  His paintings focus on the places that people don't always see or pay attention to, enhancing their beauty.
